Really shocked to hear of the sudden death of Steve Jobs aged just 56.
The San Francisco born co-founder and Chairman of Apple, had been suffering from various health issues since he had surgery for a rare form of pancreatic cancer in August 2004.
In January 2011 Apple announced that he would be taking an indeterminate medical leave of absence, which later followed with Steve stepping down from his role as CEO in late August, saying "if there ever came a day when I could no longer meet my duties and expectations as Apple’s CEO, I would be the first to let you know. Unfortunately, that day has come."
Unconfirmed messages spread across Twitter until Apple confirmed roamers via press release on Apple.com.
Steve Jobs, Steve Wozniak and the original Apple team gave so much to the world, and he will be missed.
Our thoughts are with his family at this time.
