Man of the moment Dennis Ferrer has received one of the highest creative accolades for a dance music producer, a Grammy nomination for his remix of Dido's "Don't Believe in Love".
His nomination comes as buzz track "Hey Hey" clocks up its third week at No.1 in the top 100 of Beatport, as well as more than 60,000 views on YouTube in two weeks, 6 Pete Tong Plays and a Mixmag Big Tune review.
Dennis has long been hailed as one of the most innovative producers on the underground and it seems that he’s finally getting the more mainstream recognition he deserves.
He is nominated along with the following, in Category 93 of the awards; 'Best Remixed Recording, Non-Classical'.
Dido "Don't Believe In Love" (Dennis Ferrer Objektivity Mix)
Royksopp "The Girl And The Robot" (Jean Elan Remix)
Dean Coleman feat. DCLA "I Want You" (Dave Aude Remix)
Franz Ferdinand "No You Girls" (Trentemoller Remix)
David Guetta feat. Kelly Rowland "When Love Takes Over" (Electro Extended Remix)
